China Steel Construction Society held "Science and Technology Achievement Evaluation Meeting"

The evaluation meeting invited Professor Yu Yinquan, a national engineering survey and design master and chief engineer of China Building Standard Design Institute Co., Ltd., as the team leader, and Professor Liu Yi, executive vice president of the association, Professor He Mingxuan, chief expert of China Baowu Steel Group Co., Ltd., Professor Huo Wenying, chief engineer of China Building Design Institute Co., Ltd., and Professor Li Haiwang, president of Shanxi Steel Structure Association, as members. Wang Rui, Zhao Hui, Shen Linghua, Wang Yunhe, Zhang Xuejian from Taiyuan University of Technology, Zhuang Lijun from Shanxi Fourth Construction Group Co., Ltd., Jin Bin from Shanxi Fourth Construction Group Co., Ltd. and other main project implementers attended the meeting.

At the meeting, Professor Zhao Hui of Taiyuan University of Technology, on behalf of the project team, reported on the research background, key innovative technologies and application of results. The evaluation experts reviewed the technical data and, after questioning and discussion, believed that the project team had systematically carried out theoretical numerical simulation, experimental and applied research on the anti-collision performance of engineering structures under multi-hazard coupling, and achieved the following major innovative results:

 

1. The stress and damage mechanism of various types of structural components such as steel columns, steel-concrete composite columns, and highway steel guardrails under impact was revealed, and a full-process analysis method for the dynamic response of structural components and a calculation method for anti-impact bearing capacity based on the dynamic amplification coefficient were proposed, and the basic theory of anti-impact of engineering structural components was developed.

 

2. A method for evaluating the damage of structural components after impact was proposed, and a method for evaluating the residual bearing capacity after impact considering the coupling effects of load, material, and geometric parameters was established, realizing the quantitative evaluation of damage during the entire impact process and performance-based design.

 

3. Developed a multi-hazard coupling impact test system, achieved stable load application during impact and accurate capture and control of the hammer after impact, developed a large open-and-close tubular furnace that meets the IS0834 standard heating curve requirements and matches the impact system, and solved the "fire-impact" multi-hazard cooperation test problem.

 

The project has been granted 14 national invention patents and 1 computer software copyright, and its research results have been included in 4 industry standards. 64 academic papers have been published (24 of which are included in SCI and 32 in EI). The results have been applied to the anti-collision evaluation of more than 20 projects such as Shanxi Xiaohe International Conference Center, Dalian Sports Center Gymnasium, Urumqi Ice Sports Center Speed ​​Skating Hall, Pingyu Expressway, etc., with significant social, economic and environmental benefits and broad application prospects.

 

The evaluation committee believes that the project results have generally reached the international advanced level, among which the anti-collision design method of steel tube concrete structure and the impact test system of multi-hazard coupling have reached the international leading level.
